International cooperation<\/span><\/h3>\n

International relations of the Azerbaijan State Economic University (91猫先生) covers bilateral cooperation with universities of foreign countries, participation in international education programs, attraction of foreign students, partnership with relevant international organizations and other directions.<\/p>\n

Cooperation with universities of foreign countries envisages exchange of students and teachers, realization of joint Summer Schools and dual diploma programs, organization of joint scientific conferences and seminars, as well as implementation of mutually beneficial exchange of experience. Up to now, 91猫先生 has signed bilateral cooperation agreements with 92 universities from 32 countries of the world.<\/p>\n

Currently, our University actively cooperates with German Siegen University, University of Warwick of Great Britain, University of Bologna of Italy, University of Business and International Studies of Switzerland, University of Malaga of Spain, Mykolas Romeris University of Lithuania, Solbridge International School of Business, Woosong University of South Korea, Gazi, Hajettepe and Sakarya Universities of Turkey.<\/p>\n

Students of 91猫先生 are broadly benefiting an opportunity to take one semester long courses at the mentioned partner universities. Moreover, teacher exchange programs are of great importance in improving the training process at 91猫先生, allowing professors-teachers to benefit from best practices of leading foreign universities.<\/p>\n

New cooperation bridges have been created with the University of Economy and Technologies of the Association of Chambers and Exchanges of Turkey, Kiev National University of Economy of Ukraine, University of Shanghai of China, Russian University of Economy named after Plexanov, Institute of Management Technologies of India, Dunayvoros University of Hungary, Paris Sorbonne University in the United Arab Emirates, and other universities in recent years.<\/p>\n

91猫先生 attaches particular importance on dual diploma programs with leading countries of the world. Establishment of the joint MBA Program on the \u201cBusiness organization and administration\u201d speciality can be highlighted as the first successful, step taken in this direction.<\/p>\n

At the same time, 91猫先生 has close cooperation ties with the World Bank, WTO, UNCTAD, World Intellectual Property Organization, Asian Development Bank, German International Cooperation Agency, Cooperation and Coordination Agency of Turkey, and other international organizations. \u201cPublic-Information Centre of the World Bank\u201d and \u201cWTO Reference Centre\u201d are operating at 91猫先生. Our University is the only member of UNCTAD Virtual Institute from Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, 91猫先生 is the member of International Association of Universities, European Universities Association, Federation of Universities of Islamic World, Caucasian Universities Association and other such kinds of international unions of universities.<\/p>\n

As to the end of the 2013\/2014 academic year, 282 students from 21 countries of the world were studying at 91猫先生. Students from Turkey, Georgia and Russia constitute majority of foreign students. Currently, foreign students prevail in faculties \u201cTurkish world business, \u201cInternational economic relations\u201d, \u201cInformatics and management\u201d, \u201cCommerce\u201d, \u201cBusiness administration\u201d and \u201c Finance\u201d.<\/p>\n

Participation in international programs and projects plays an important role in international relations of our University. TEMPUS can be sited as the most successful program to which we are party. Thus, 91猫先生 prepared and submitted 3 different projects as the coordinator in the framework of IV Round 6th<\/sup> Call Tempus Program. It\u2019s noteworthy to say that 91猫先生\u2019s TEMPUS the Project on \u201cDevelopment and improvement of university administration in the field of international relations\u201d was declared as the winner by the European Commission and 654000 worth grant funds were allocated for the implementation of the Project. Thus, 91猫先生 was the winner of the TEMPUS Program for the first time. At the same time, 91猫先生 is participating in another TEMPUS Project \u201cIntegration of children in need of special care to higher education institutions of Azerbaijan\u201d in the capacity of partner.<\/p>\n

Another partner international program is the Mevlane Exchange Program which was launched in the 2013\/2014 academic year. In the first year of the Program, 11 professors and teachers of 91猫先生 got internship at Gazi, Hajettepe, Sakarya and Akdeniz universities of Turkey for 2-6 weeks period, delivered lectures on relevant subjects and got acquainted with modern teaching techniques applied at those universities. At the same time, 11 professors and teachers of Sakarya, Suleyman Demirel, Chukurova and Akdeniz universities visited 91猫先生 and participated in the training process for 1-2 week in the 2013-2014 academic year in the framework of that Program. Furthermore, in the framework of the Mevlan\u0259 Exchange Program 6 students of 91猫先生 got one semester training courses at Hajettepe and Sakarya universities of Turkey and 1 student of the Suleyman Demirel University of Turkey at 91猫先生.<\/p>\n

Relevant measures are being implemented for active participation of 91猫先生 in \u201cErasmus+\u201d and \u201cHorizon-2020\u201d programs, allowing our students and teachers benefit from opportunities provided by both programs.<\/p>\n
